Traversarea a fost făcută de doua personalitatii ale Italiei montane , Annibale Salsa, antropolog, și Marco Albino Ferrari, scriitor și fost editor al revistei Meridiani Montagne. O expediție polifonică scufundată în peisajul cultural al celui mai mare lanț muntos din Europa, de la vârfuri până la josul văii, oferind un mozaic complex, care se conturează urmărind rețeaua de drumuri care au înconjurat Alpii de-a lungul timpului.
ENG: UN VIAGGIO SULLE ALPI is the story of a two-thousand-kilometre journey across the alpine space. The crossing was made together with two authoritative modern-day travellers, Annibale Salsa, anthropologist, and Marco Albino Ferrari, writer and former editor of the magazine Meridiani Montagne. A polyphonic expedition immersed in the cultural landscape of the biggest mountain range in Europe, from the summits to the valley floor, it offers a complex mosaic, taking shape by following the network of roads that have surrounded the Alps over time.
